Linda Ahlblad is deputy member of Helsinki City Council and Audit Committee of Helsinki and chair of the school board at Minervaskolan, CEO of Pauhu Translations and chair of the board at Kites ⁠–⁠ Language Cluster Finland, .

Linda was born 12 January 1978 at the Women’s Hospital in Helsinki and grew up in the city’s Ullanlinna district. She took her matriculation exam at Svenska normallyceum in 1996 and has studied language technology and translation at the University of Helsinki, as well as experience tourism at Länsi-Lapin ammatti-instituutti in Muonio.

She is running for Helsinki City Council in 2021. In the Council, Linda wants to develop Helsinki’s recreation areas and promote the interests of the capital’s families and children. She lives in Etu-Töölö with her husband, three five- to ten-year-old children and a miniature schnauzer. The family is bilingual (Finnish and Swedish) and the children go to Swedish primary school and daycare.

The municipal elections will be held 18 April 2021.
